Sara Allegretta is an established soprano and professor of Vocal Chamber Music, with a prestigious career that combines artistic excellence, academic commitment, and significant experience in cultural and institutional management.
After graduating in Economics and Business from the University of Bari in 1991 and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, she continued her education with two Master's degrees: in "Organization and Management of Musical Enterprises" at the University of Parma and in "Communication and Political Consulting" at the LUMSA University of Rome.
Parallel to her economic training, she achieved important musical academic titles: the Diploma in Voice from the "N. Piccinni" Conservatory of Bari with honors and mention, the Diploma in Vocal Chamber Music from the "A. Boito" Conservatory of Parma, and the Diploma in Lied und Oratorium from the "C. Monteverdi" Conservatory of Bolzano. She also completed two Level II Academic Diplomas in "Chamber Music" and "Voice" at the "G. Braga" Musical Institute of Teramo, both with maximum marks and honors.
Currently, she is a professor of Vocal Chamber Music at the "N. Piccinni" Conservatory of Bari and a member of the Board of Directors of the Fondazione Teatro Petruzzelli, representing the Ministry of Culture. She also holds the role of Artistic Director of the Fondazione Orchestra Sinfonica Federiciana.
In the past, she has held prominent institutional positions, such as Vice Mayor and Councilor for Culture, Tourism, and General Affairs for the Municipality of Molfetta (2017-2021) and Artistic Director of the "Vincenzo Maria Valente" Musical Foundation (2021-2023).

Among her recent performances are Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony with the Orchestra della Magna Grecia, as well as recitals in Italy and abroad, including an important performance in Cairo with programs dedicated to Dante and Gabriele D’Annunzio, in 2024 in concert at the prestigious Ehrbar Saal in Vienna, and in Hong Kong for a Master in “Performing Art Management”.
